Here’s A Tip!
- In StrataLogica, use the Land Cover, Sculptural Relief, and Google Earth maps to see the Congo Basin in detail.
- Model the lesson using the Land Cover or Sculptural Relief wall map of Africa (1LC4, 1SR4).
- Have students look at the issues involved in rain forest destruction and conservation on pages 30 and 120 in The Nystrom Desk Atlas.
- Take a closer, hands-on look at Africa’s wet regions using Our World Today, Africa, Lesson 4.
